hey mister! can we have our ball back??
so there are six quizzes and three surveys i want to do and couldnt decide, so i figured why not do none of them and just write about my weekend. then later on today about 3:45 when im wishing it was five so i can go home, i can do that to alleviate the tedium of my day.

so friday i got off at four (hurrah!) and went home and read a book. then i went to the gathering that was half boring, half fun. it was at first just a get together and we ate pizza and the like. then we went around the room and everyone that had been at the pioneer meeting told about there favourite parts. it was really upbuilding, and then they played some games that were kinda dumb, but on the second one my sister was made to play and she was NOT happy about it. (shes EXTREMELY shy) so i took her place. then andrew, taryn and i went to the store (grocery & liquor) and then came back to my house and watched tv. then i went to sleep. OH OH OH but the absolute BEST part of my day was when i got home and there was a package for me from danielle (socialite) and i got pictures AND a really spiffy cool cd. it was soooo great.

then saturday, went out in service and then came home and read some more. then i had to cancel my cleaning party cause apparently, my uncle was coming over to meet taryn and i was supposed to be there (im soo glad i was told)(bitter bitter bitter) anyway, i had dinner at my moms house, and then chelsey came over and we played trivial pursuit and chelsey and taryn were both sufficiently impressed with our familys brilliance. then taryn decided she didnt want to paint like we had planned she was going shopping with her boyfriend but said that i could come along. how sweet. anyway, we went to the mall to find a skirt for taryn to wear to joshs wedding and to get andrew his tux. i ran into deanna a friend from high school which makes the sixth friend in two months i have met up with. its quite weird actually. so then we went to cd warehouse where i purchased three clearance cds. another gene cd (woohoo), a mansun cd that i still have not listened too(but they came highly recommended to me), and a third cd that i wont admit to but the eighth track is sooo great. (and at least its not britney "whore" spears. then we went to todd and lez' house and watched showtime on dvd.

so then on sunday, my hip got really bad and i missed the meeting. then later on taryn came over and we went to big lots and bought rollers and trays, and then to home depot and bought paint and then came home and watched friends and hard days night. and drank some mad dog 20/20. (i had wine coolers. i had to work today).

so today, taryn has my key and is going to go to my house when she gets off work and tape everything down so when i get home we cam actually start painting. sounds like its actually going to get started. hurrah!! im eating lunch with my mom today. should be fun. other than that i have nothing new to report. OOH OOH!! except i found out that my sister (paradisehope) and chels (savoytruffle) are both going to be getting baptized at the assembly next weekend. (its a secret so dont tell people please) im so happy, proud, and excited. gotta get more film. oh and we are going to go eat sushi afterwords hurray!! (danielle or nikki, could one of you please remind me of the name of that salmon thing i like.) k well, ill probably post again later on today.

love to all of you.
pauls grandfather.

'well atleast im clean'
'are you?'

I would've thought your evil percentage was much higher....
heh heh. Just kidding, of course..Which salmon thing are you talking about? Perhaps I can assist. I am valiantly fighting off a cold with Zicam (I SWEAR it works!), and don't have much to do today, so I'm just chillin'. Saturday, went to the book study and field service by myself, because Mimsie and Arnold were sick (you know Arnold has pneumonia, don't you?) We went to a housewarming thing that was mostly boring, but Danielle met a new young sister who likes her scary music, and then they made plans to get together. Went home and cleaned like a thing possessed, then we had take out BBQ that was pretty darn good (from Bennett's - do they have them in Texas?) Prissy and I ate a whole half a BBQ'd chicken between us.

Went to the Sunday meeting by myself, commented twice, and invited 3 families over for next Sunday to eat dinner and play games. We have 11 book studies in our hall now, we're growing so fast again. Starting December 1, we're going to give a neighboring congregation (Avondale) some territory and about 5 publishers. Actually, when they made the announcement, the brother was saying that 30 percent of the people that go to our hall aren't in the territory, but they all come because they want to sit next to me. Ha....but we are a very warm, friendly congregation, so you can't blame them, really. Mimsie and I went for a walk (warm enough for shorts and T-shirt), and Laura called Danielle whie we were walking. She was lamenting that the temp was in the single digits in Minnesota.

I made fried chicken for dinner. Yummy.....
